Üntel Cable Green Team: Pioneers of Change
Our sustainability strategies are managed by a multidisciplinary working group called the “Green Team”. This team consists of Chemical Engineers, Data Analysts, Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialists.
Our Strategic Focus Areas:
- Green Energy and Decarbonisation: We calculate our carbon footprint according to international standards and invest in renewable energy sources to reduce our emissions.
- Circular Economy and Waste Management: In line with our 2030 and 2050 climate targets, we aim to minimise industrial waste and maximise resource efficiency.
- Sustainable Product Management: We transparently share the environmental impacts of our products throughout their life cycle using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Compliance with Legislation and Global Standards
To maintain our competitive strength in the global market and meet legal requirements (Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism – BCAM, Green Deal, etc.), we conduct our work in accordance with the following standards:
- Carbon Footprint (ISO 14064): We provide transparent reporting by regularly calculating our corporate carbon footprint.
- Water Footprint (ISO 14046): We optimise water consumption in our production processes and conserve our water resources.
- EPD (Environmental Product Declaration): We certify the environmental impacts of our products from raw material sourcing to the end of production in accordance with ISO 14025.
Our vision: To be a pioneer of change in the industry and spread the green transition throughout our entire value chain, with a net-zero emissions target by 2050.
